How do you keep your crotch? And what is your preference towards partners?
My personal grooming fluctuates. It’s been a while since I last shaved completely; trimming is easier but I do tend to get too much into the process and cut too much, which leads to strange looking results, so natural as been my state for quite some time.
For my partner, shaved facilitates oral but I like the look of a full bush and the scent capturing it allows for. Too short can get rough on contact. Imaginative grooming patterns can be fun but the upkeep can be tiresome.

One thing I can universally say is that pubes improve overall health of the region. Less skin infections, less difficulty bathing, less bad smells even. And that’s ignoring the risks of depilation.
Pubes give a cushion in every regard.
So, me? I keep mine well bathed using best practices learned over twenty years on the job, and I prefer the same in my partners.
Even trimming doesn’t do anything useful imo, unless you have a significant visual preference. Which I totally get, it’s nice to be able to see everything easily sometimes
