It still has led India into an authoritarian conservative hole. I think any sort if non-rational thought, mass adopted, becomes a problem. It being organised or not doesn’t matter.

Hinduism isn’t an organised religion. Lots of diversity of thought across the subcontinent.
It still has led India into an authoritarian conservative hole.
