*Population estimates were prepared before the Israeli aggression against Gaza Strip on October 7th, 2023. As a result of the aggression, and considering the increasing number of martyrs and missing persons, and the number of those who left Gaza Strip in addition to the decrease in the number of births, population estimates indicate a decrease in the population of Gaza Strip to (2,129,724) persons, a decrease of 6% from what was estimated for mid 2024.
