Basically what the title says, I been on Lemmy for 6 or 5 years, through different general instances, but being on a furry specific instance is soooo nice, I can just switch the view of my account from “Subscribed” to “Local” and I can access all the communities and furry posts with just one click, instead of mixing my subscriptions with my furry communities.

I wonder how many people are on pawb who aren’t furries… I mean, there’s got to be some weirdos out there who picked this as their home instance even though they’re not into furries at all … for some reason.
There was one person who joined this instance because they were Welsh and thought “pawb” was the Welsh word for “everyone” :3c They haven’t been active in a while, unfortunately
Some people join instances without any commitment to the local community there. just using the server to access federation.
Yeah, but for people like that … why choose this instance in particular? They’d have to scroll pretty far down a list of instances to find this one.

Honestly it’s a massive help. Always nice discovering new communities on the local tab that I didn’t know of. Just earlier, found out there was a furry 3D art themed community, and it’s the sorta thing I wouldn’t mind posting some of my creations to.
I wholeheartedly agree. This instance is lovely and made it so much easier for me to join the Fediverse. Back then, there were a lot fewer posts, but even though it’s a bit more active nowadays, it still feels like a comfy, familiar space. It’s nice to have you here!
