Ive heard theres a lot of bigotry in ml spaces, particularly against women and lgbtq+. So i think sharing your experiences would allow us to learn from them. Im pretty sure this is a safe space, at least i hope so lol.

Edit: I apoligize for giving little to no profundization.(im not used to this reddit like social media, i only use discord)

I mostly asked this because i was thinking about joining Communist Party of Spain and i had heard concerning things about other communist poarties in the imperial core like the yankee one, and the british one. And i also saw this short https://www.youtube.com/shorts/poc6t6qO1VM and i was really worried about it.

Anyways thanks for answering and im glad the responses were so reassuring.

Not the actual position of combat medic but the closest thing someone not in the armed services can get, I am going for my paramedic two but that covers more than traumatic injury so takes longer

Combat medic covers things like gsw and stabbings and blunt trauma to a higher extent than most people can get

Realistically I work in normal emergency medicine but I am trying to go in with a focus on traumatic injury especially since I am in an area where shootings and stabbings aren’t uncommon

I am not that desperate for training, I just work in a city bad enough that shootings/stabbings are very common and we have had some major shit literally happen less than 5 minutes from the base im at

I may be making it sound worse than it is because all the exposure I get to that city is the medical things so I see alot of things like that

Kinda sorta, while on shift yes and we do anywhere from 9 to 72 hours at a time and you live there eating Sleeping and doing whatever in between calls

Honestly if it’s less than a 24 I am probably living out of the ambulance

That is the standard for ems because it speeds up response

When not on the clock I currently live with family but me and my partner are trying to move in together
