The so-called US-brokered ‘ceasefire’ in Gaza has been marked by at least 2,400 documented Israeli violations that expose the truce as a nominal agreement on paper only. Signed on 10 October 2025, the nominal truce has failed to transition into its secondary stages, which mandated a full Israeli withdrawal and international stabilization. Instead, data compiled by the Palestinian Health Ministry and regional tracking groups show that Israel has conducted near-daily air strikes, artillery bombardments, and ground shootings. This persistent violence has killed at least 870 Palestinians—including 229 children confirmed by UNICEF—and wounded 2,543 others.
Beyond direct military strikes, the Israeli military has structurally breached the agreement by unilaterally expanding its territorial footprint inside the enclave through the manipulation of the “Yellow Line.” This demarcation, which was meant to freeze active battle lines, originally an estimated 64 percent of Gaza under Israeli control.
