Thirty-four European states plus Australia, Costa Rica and the European Union said, on Friday, May 15, that they would join a future special tribunal for Ukraine to prosecute Russia over its invasion of the country.

I am cautious about underestimating how evil these people can be/have been/are.
I don’t question their motives, I just don’t think their maximalist desires are realizable, and I think they ought to realize that by now. But I may be overestimating their intelligence and practicality.

I was over there and it was a pretty textbook example of a corrupt gangster state that boxes up it’s domestic population into forgotten shantytowns while rolling out the red carpet for wealthy Western tourists to come over and get drunk. I’d invite any Western reactionary who talks shit about Cuba for being poor while under a literal blockade to travel there and see how much good rolling over for the west is doing for the people there.
