But, that’s the whole point of the sanctions in the first place, to kill and immiserate as many Venezuelans as possible. That’s literally why the
uses sanctions.Giuliani was literally celebrating at one point years ago that sanctions on Iran were working by using as evidence that Iranian men and women were starving and men were selling their organs to feed their families

Right, but a lot of people don’t even realize that the sanctions are still in place and want to see relief for the Venezuelan people. In this case, the “evil” Maduro has been kidnapped and replaced by the pliable Delcy, and yet the sanctions still go on. Putting pressure on the US and others to lift the sanctions will help the people of Venezuela and also educate people about what sanctions are all about.
