This is something that has made me angry about post Skyrim games. They feel purposefully hollow to be filled with mods. But, mods are the garnish on your meal-not the meal. Mods won’t save a bad game. No different than putting a bit of thyme on a burnt steak will make it anymore edible.
As with everything Bethesda makes I’m sure this will be better once the modding community gets their hands on it.
