Usually I am sympathetic towards people losing their jobs. However, that goes out the window when their government is hostile and I am watching family struggle due to the trade war.

But yet you have no words for your own country only others.
SHUT THE FUCK UP, YOUR WORDS ARE MEANINGLESS AT THIS POINT FOR THE REST OF THE WORLD.
I do not always agree with the person you’re replying to, but to suggest that they don’t ever have criticism for the US is extremely disingenuous.
What they’re arguing is that there are over seventy-five million of us that actively voted against this, and those people do not deserve the blame here.
Do you know how many people that actually is? I mean truly?
According to a quick Google search, the amount of people who voted for Kamala Harris in 2024 is larger than the entire populations of every country after Germany on the list of nations by population. That’s from number 20 to number 234.

That’s the amount of people who voted. For Kamala. People who were eligible, registered, and showed up even after Dems pulled their candidate last minute.
More people than in all of Thailand. More people than in all of France, Italy, the United Kingdom, Egypt, Turkey, South Korea… I will stop because it would literally be easier to just list the 19 nations with a higher population than total Kamala Harris voters.
Now spread that over a land mass the size of China, and maybe you’ll start to understand why people in Washington State aren’t “making a day of it” to bring a guillotine to the white house (and do what, exactly? I mean talk about empty fucking gestures) in DC. A literal continent away. A literal physical impossibility for a working person to do.
