It stays a normal fediverse app. Your posts can reach Mastodon, PixelFed, Misskey and the rest, and posts from those servers reach you too.

    Technical comment:

    Sign-in from the web uses a JWT.

    JWT is not meant for staying signed in for a long time, because they cannot be revoked without logging out everyone on the website. They are meant for short-time sessions only. The OWASP Session Management Cheat Sheet doesn’t even mention them as a possibility for session management.
