Like the title indicates, I want to try out something new for this community: a (more or less) monthly thread where we can just write what we think.
This can be about something you want to share but did not find a fitting place for it, general chatting about whatever, or feedback about this community.

    @green_copper Doing alright! ^^ This week was my first week of university and it’s been *incredibly* busy and a difficult adjustment, but I’m sure I’ll eventually get used to everything… On a more positive note I did also manage to finish a couple of songs over the weekend!

    I guess to touch on the community feedback thing, I actually really like this one in particular :P I know I don’t engage much but I especially love looking at all the art posted here!! I never would have learned of foxburrito if I wasn’t in this community, and they have become probably one of my favorite artists haha

      Oh that’s so cool ! Will you share some of the songs you made with the community ?

      I also didn’t know that furries.club did actually allow to follow communities and engage in forums on Lemmy. I thought it was just Mastodon all along (my Mastodon account is on their server lol).

        @TheNokMachine Yeah sure, I don’t see why not!! Glad you’re interested, although I’m not sure they’ll live up to your expectations haha. Give me a couple days to find some time to bounce them though, I’ll get back to you once I’ve done that ^^

        Oh yeah, I love that about pretty much all Fediverse stuff, things are surprisingly compatible :P what’s your Mastodon handle?? I’d love to give you a follow

          Thank you in advance. I know that some people feel nervous about sharing their songs. I don’t want you to feel forced to share them.

          It’s @TheNokMachine I don’t post often recently, cause I use my account for posting my Art. I don’t know if it’d be a great idea to share a bit of IRL stuff on it or thoughts on it. But yeah, it’s great that things are compatible, it lets other see things that they might not see and interact with them. I know that some people had issues with it, but other than that, it’s great, even if I prefer when things are separated from each other.

      This is a big step. I hope you will find friends with which you can enjoy your time there (which is likely as you are surrounded by people with similar interest :) )
