So you do not live in a forest? ok then: living first hand with it: our bird populations and feeders are exploding right now with birds. it has been an unusual summer with birds and the territorial battles. several more nests. lot more owls, squirrels too.
it could also be that bird populations are not dipping but shifting depending on many factors of liveable areas(noise pollution affects birds a lot). And conservation efforts which are being done successfully in different parts of the globe. if they are being reported as fewer somewhere, that is just one place.it is not everywhere and it is not all experience. bird population is one of the hardest ones for studies to nail down because of this so most they can give is an estimate. anyone giving you an absolute of all birds on the planet only do so for gaining money for saying such.
you dont have to take my (or anyone’s) word for it though: you can experience the wild life changes on the land first hand. go chill in a forest. do it often in several different forests. or do what i do: live there and travel to others often. see the patterns.note the patterns (fantastic for getting out of one’s head)
you dont have to just command someone to only write the experience of how you should experience life for you. especially if it is just one side of the story.
live positive i say. dont just read postive. free the brain from the shackles of the indoor news (especially of news that is about your area) and go see for yourself. in fact it is your duty to demand of yourself to follow up on news you hear by go seeking it out to know for yourself. feed the brain. dont just have others feed it for you.
plus it is worthwhile to see if the news has gathered all the facts or feeding you a narrow perspective.
A lot of people write a lot of lies to get an emotional response to control others. this is how news is today. so better not just read but demand of yourself to go see it for yourself in local areas that are easy to get to. bird populations are one of the few things in science they cant do absolutes on. i know this as ive followed up with professors behind the scenes out of personsl interest. there is a lot of money changing hands to speak in absolutes. And if this interests you it is your duty to also find and understand those nuances when a news story is written.
Not over this last season
There was a massive boost up north
I’d love to read something positive. is there an article you can share?
