This game fucking rules. I have the pocket version always in the console of my truck. Games play in ten minutes or less if you know what you’re doing. There’s no better diner game IMO.

now that i took a 2nd look, maybe the pillbug can’t help here ☞
The Pillbug CANNOT move a piece through a too-narrow gap of stacked pieces (violating the Freedom to Move Rule).
Probably too late, since either side can end it if the other looks like they’re about to escape.
we agreed for a draw but played on to see. White tried to find another way and quickly lost the game.
Add the pillbug to your hive and use it to move other bugs up and over it!

we play with the base but that indeed sounds interesting. i’ll maybe go find that bug this week :)
