Can I just appreciate for a minute how this background is in dark mode rather than blindingly bright white? I cannot say how happy that makes me…

    Well, I can try though:

    what difference does it make?

in iran videos leaked of a cleric abusing ppl sexually. NOTHING happend. and in america trump could rape a child on 9th street and yet the voters, clarence thomas and all the other murican garbage will support/vote trump.

so why care about this? you are all barking at the wrong tree. the problem is the american and their absurd educational system. the problem is choice between to fucking old people instead of a real democracy. bipartisanship is a scam. but yeah lets celebrate a jab from one of the sons of the lesser evils…great win, great success. murica is retarded.

So what, we should eat shit and die and suffer and not be excited about things that feel like small victories?

The pov you’re providing is bleak and grim. We aren’t dumb, we know we’re fucked and our election sucks. We can focus on multiple things at a time and we can laugh at our political idiots while also being mad at them.

This comment right here highlights one of the biggest issues in American politics. The “us vs. them” mentality. In other countries, if you vote for a party, you vote for a party. It seems like in the US, you vote for a party and suddenly you must believe in X, you’re responsible for Y, you’re labelled as a Z, you’re always part of the problem, etc.

You guys treat politics like fucking sports teams and it’s weird.

I wouldn’t be wheeling nepo baby Hunter Biden out to events like an electoral asset if I were in charge of the Dems strategy.

Idk, I would vote for him. If doing cocaine was a disqualifier for public office, then why did we elect JFK? GWB? Plus he fucks, that’s clearly not disqualifying, ask Trump! Also nepo babies? Ask Trump, GWB, JFK…

From much as I could find on the subject, I don’t think JFK used Cocaine, at least not regularly. He did use amphetamines, codeine, demerol, methadone, and Ritalin throughout his presidency, though, so cocaine probably would have been too weak for him, anyways. The man was on a doctor prescribed speedball.

I guess in my country the candidate tends to campaign by themselves, maybe their spouse might show up on occasion but they don’t say much. The US model where the family get wheeled out to make zingers is strange.

Agree that all of them are nepo babies btw.

Not suggesting our system is correct or even good, but have you considered who a person counts as their most trusted advisors? Usually ones immediate family are very important to them and often helps guide their opinions on life.

So when it comes to the president or leader of a country, I think it’s actually a bit nice to see the family, because they will absolutely be involved somehow. Knowing if the family is stable or not in public appearances is fairly valuable to understanding the proposed leader.

How young are you? Until Trump children were NEVER involved in the presidency except for photo ops occasionally. Or when paparazzi dragged them into it.

And the ONLY reason Hunter Biden is there is because of a GOP hit squad trying to get at his father.
