I loved Scott Manley’s Kerbal Space Program videos when that game was thriving, and his space science content in general. I learned a lot from his content and he made learning fun. But whenever he talks about China he always makes them sound like outsiders and very subtly like adversaries, which is something that never happens when he talks about any other nation’s space program.
The sinophobia runs deep. Reminds me of Arstechnia and their users.
China’s plan to go to the Moon is older than the Artemis program. So who is trying to beat who here?
yeah good point, it’s clearly the US that felt embarrassed that China would beat them back to the moon and scrambled to start a program of their own
the title makes it sound like the US is from the moon, has invaded earth and china’s beating them back to their lair
