Heard great things about the game, never played it though.

    1. This game is easily worth full price for the single player alone. You’d be an idiot not to pick it up for $3

    2. The multiplayer is back, like really back, and it slaps just as hard as ever. This is, genuinely, one of my main multiplayer games right now. The fight to the extraction on a loss is one of the most cinematic moments you’ll ever get in a PvP gamemode.

Believe the hype on this one.

      Yeah no.

      • EA game should be reason enough not to buy this game.
      • Requires EA launcher
      • Requires EA DRM
      • Requires linked EA account
      • No offline mode, even for single player

You couldn’t pay me to play this game. If you buy this game, you forfeit the right to ever complain about this bullshit because you’re actively encouraging it.

The best tip is to focus on killing ai in the Attrition mode, and stay near teammates. But the wave defense mode is fun too, as you level titans they get overpowered upgrades which would be too unbalanced in versus mode.

Incorporates 3rd-party DRM: EA on-line activation and Origin client software installation and background use required

Requires 3rd-Party Account: EA Account (Supports Linking to Steam Account)

Seems like another cursed EA game with built-in spyware.

It’s EA Play now, which is actually somehow worse than Origin was.

Still, Titanfall 2 is actually a great game (probably my favourite of the PS4 era) and is well worth a little suffering for.

What the deal with EA Play? I see their subscription prices and I’m not doing that. Then below that I see the game for $3.99 CAD. Can I just get the game that way and not deal with any extra EA stuff?

I don’t know for sure in this case but some EA games require you to use EA Play as a launcher, even if you buy the game through Steam.

The desktop app is called “EA App” not “EA Play” which is where the confusion is coming from. “EA Play” is the game subscription service that’s like gamepass.
