@OutofPrintArchive@mstdn.games The BattleTech Center was impressive enough that I heard about it, but expensive enough I only passed by it. The Wikipedia article notes the earliest simulators had heavy frame rate drops even when limited to 6 player games. North Pier Mall was not on the outskirts, though, at 2 blocks north of the Chicago River and inland from Navy Pier.
