I went ahead and bought a bunch of indie games, picked up Darkchaser, Oxygen Not Included, and UFO50, and also grabbed Cities: Skylines. Got used to the launch prices of some AAA games, buying these discounted low-priced games really doesn’t hurt much.
Tempted to get Hades for $10, but it’s a game that makes me angry.
If dying over and over again is what’s making you angry, turn on God Mode. The story is amazing. Without God Mode, I would have thrown it on the heap of games started that never hooked me. It was worth setting aside my pride to see a beautiful, intriguing set of stories and relationships unfold.
I did turn on God Mode… still suffering. I suppose I’ve just gotta keep dying until I don’t, but I haven’t had the energy for that lately.
I kinda wish I had. Maybe I still will… 50 hours in I finally got my first escape and I now find I’m struggling to go back to it because it just keeps getting harder lmao. I just wanna tell Dusa how great she is.
