I’m relatively new to using Matrix, so far I’ve given Element and Fluffy Chat a try. I’ve preferred Fluffy Chat so far, I dunno it kinda just seems more reliable and I like the mobile app, but I was wondering if there’s any others that are worth checking out. I mainly use Linux, Windows, and iOS.
Element on the web and Element X on Android
I hope Element X will get support for spaces soon. I agree that fluffy does seem to be the most capable at the moment but I don’t think it has support for sliding sync.
I primarily just use element, although I have been moving away from Matrix more and more in favor of SimpleX chat, because it has better privacy.

I need both threads and spaces, which limits my options. I use Element web on my PCs. On my phone, I am forced to use Schildichat because the Element app slows to a crawl after a couple days of use.
NeoChat. Too many options out there are Electron/Flutter. If I want to use a browser, I will use a browser.
