I think it will start a lot of conversations that need to be had over there. Some stat I’ve seen doing the rounds is that Americans paid $12(?) billion out of pocket for cancer treatments last year. UnitedHealthcare alone made $33 billion profit. They could have paid for everyone’s cancer treatments in full and still delivered billions in shareholder value. Situation’s fucked.
