Jen Dillon O’Malley ran the campaign and just happens to own a PR firm that makes a cut on the ineffective ads and $1 mil celeb endorsements and $100k podcast sets. Funny that the party whose corruption doesn’t require winning cares less about winning.

I know some locals who have run as Democrats. They say the only help the party will give you is handing over a list of high priced consultants they want you to hire.

The party election apparatus has been completely captured by the consultant class who doesn’t care whether you win or not. They only care how much money you can raise during your campaign.

Modern Democrats (hell maybe it’s always been this way) have been about patronage networks, elections are only useful insofar as it allows you to maintain your patronage network. The DNC with it’s stable cycle of grift means that winning elections isn’t even required anymore. You can bilk a few million suckers every year, with a huge bonus every 4years.
