The overarching theme here is that Birdshit keeps L in captivity so that she doesn’t get sick and bring home germs which would hinder Birdshits constant gifted opportunities. She also doesn’t want L exposed to other kids/germs because then she’d actually have to get off her lazy ass and be a contributing parent.
As the mom of an autistic child, this is super normal to me.
