The cow poop and piss. I understand it’s cultural. But yo, it’s like bombshells keep being dropped on Kimberly. And TJ is like I withheld the truth because I love you.

The mother used a rag that was on the cow poop to wipe a surface clean.

There is a war brewing between Kimberly and the mother.

But with this shit, both figuratively and literally, Kimberly isn’t even having anytime to protect her boundaries. Man.

Kimberly ain’t going to fucking last.

I wonder if production will like, slip some of the cast members a couple extra bucks to intentionally cause chaos?

I still don’t like Kimberly but I can understand how she wouldn’t want to live in those conditions. Plus her husband’s a liar.

Exactly, just because she has a legit reason to be upset now doesn’t wipe out her previous horrible behavior. She should never have married him. Her best bet now is to high tail it back to America.

Thank goodness for this post. People have been WAY too hard on her! “Do some research…”. What was she supposed to do, google Weird Hindu Cult? Maybe the people saying that could have done their own research into how certain like the garlic issue are not standard practice

But she has also had years to learn the language and doesn’t know a damn word. I don’t think she ever will. Not excusing TJ being loose with the truth but if she could at least communicate with his family her life would be so much easier and TJ wouldnt be able to lie to her as much.

You’re joking right? If I have to fill any forms out here you can bet they’re offered up in several different languages. It’s also not like no one speaks English in India.

Oh FFS, Jainism is a valid and googleable religion. As much of a cult as Christianity. Just because you haven’t heard of it doesn’t make it a cult 🙄. “The garlic issue” is absolutely standard and well known practice for Jains. As much as not eating pork is for Muslims.

I’m wrong. I didn’t ever hear anyone mention that they were a Jainist family. I had heard of the sect but didn’t know anything about it. Thanks for making me learn something new.

Now I’m rethinking too. Did he tell her he was a Jainist at any point or was he happy to let her think he was a more standard Hindu? There’s a big difference between, say, Episcopalians and Pentecostals, though they both fall under the category of Christianity

Jains are not Hindu. They dated for years and are married, I’m assuming he told her what his religion was at some point.

This should be a lesson for modern western women, just because you are ‘‘spritiual’’ or you do yoga, doesn’t mean you are similar to indians. But of course it’s more about their families, i think both Rishi and Tj would do well in the US so these indian and american stories should’ve been in the main 90 day fiance, not in the other way.

He’s trying to say he was waiting for his mom to tell her everything. I’m sure he probably told her that he couldn’t explain all her duties before marriage because she wasn’t even allowed to step foot in the kitchen :)

My girlfriend is Indian and when we watched this episode she said all this burning shit and dropping shit crumbs all over the kitchen and sprinkling cow piss everywhere are things she’s never seen nor heard of. His family is fucking repulsive.

I have actually smelled burning shit before and let me tell you there is no way to describe it, its all encompassing and utterly horrific. He should have warned her or asked mom to lay off of it. Having shit in the kitchen is the epitome of unsanitary conditions. It’s like begging to get E Coli poisoning and have to be hospitalized.

The cultural differences are huge and there is no support for her. It has to be exhausting to have completely new expectations put upon you when you don’t understand them. It’s too much, imo. She could’ve prepared herself more, but she didn’t, and I don’t think she will have the desire to keep this up for life.

Seriously i am so sorry for disrespectful but i actually threw up in my mouth. i GET it, she is entering their culture. i have always had a rainbow if friends from all over. And even they that are married to Americans have some of their culture woven in to their lives in America. i hope they will allow her to keep SOME traditions that she is used to, to help make her feel more at home.

Omitting facts purposely until after she’s locked in. I hope she sees the show and gets smart. I don’t like how they’re manipulating her.
