In a post from a few days ago, I noticed that someone mentioned that they were afraid to post about their dislike of the Tudor BB58 for fear of downvoting. You know what? The BB is a boring watch that’s not worth the money, and Tudor wouldn’t be half as popular as it is without the connection to Rolex. If Rolexes were as attainable as they were in past years, cut that by a factor of 10. Would you really buy a BB if the reality were that you could just save a little bit more and get a Rolex Submariner? That’s my hot take. What’s yours?

Someone in this thread said small watches look good on men, but I think the real unpopular opinion here (on Reddit specifically) is the opposite. To my eyes 36mm and below pretty much always looks too small and feminine on average sized male wrists. Justifying the look by saying they used to do it in the past and calling it “classic” styling isn’t much different than wearing oversized suits, undersized ties or fedoras because your grandpa wore them.

8.5" wrist here, my first watch was a 40.5mm Seiko Starlight dress watch and it looks small on me.

No, not everyone can wear 36mm watches and 38mm doesn’t look good on everyone.
