Fight Club. It wasn’t fun to read it felt like the author was ploying with me trying purposefully to confuse me to a point where it forced me to become disinterested. However with the movie i was captivated every second. The book’s attempt to obscure and mystify the reader might have been an intentional stylistic choice, but for me, it didn’t translate well.
THE PRESTIGE.
Christopher Priest’s novel is very good but the Brothers Nolan changed a few minor twists and rearranged the timeline a bit and made it even better
One of my favourite movies of all time (top 3 alongside The Shining and LOTR Trilogy)
I’ve never read the book but I don’t really intend to, the movie already exists as a near-perfect of art/media, so I feel no real need to add to it.
David Bowie as Nikola Tesla is perhaps the best casting ever.
