All in the title. In discussion with a few friends, I mentioned that I was rooting for Liverpool in '05 in the CL final against AC Milan, and people were surprised… it seems this is not as common as I thought.

So, what’s your attidute towards your clubs’ local rivals when they are in continental competitions?

    It’s complicated. Never City or Liverpool, prefer not Chelsea but then definitely not Real or Barca either. Smaller teams like Leicester or Brighton always.

    Basically, if they are dodgy cheats or direct competition for total trophy counts then no, unless they are strong underdogs in which case maybe.
