She looks so crazy in the trailer for next week, screaming her head off when TJ is trying to talk to her about her depression. I mean, of course she’s depressed, she can’t work and she’s in a foreign country without her friends and family. That’s the show. That being said, I can’t stand her, and I’m really liking the brother-in-law more and more, especially when he laughs at her.
There’s just no way a person like that will have a good experience in a country like India. I’m American. I moved to England for a few years. They speak the same language but it was a huge culture shock and took a while for me to settle. I cannot imagine adjusting to life in India as an American.
I’m German but went to an American high school in Germany after my mom married my American stepdad. I moved to the US with my Army brat husband when I was 22 and even though I was quite immersed in American culture working on the American military base after high school, it was still intense culture shock.
I’m American and I’m culture shocked from America. Can’t imagine how someone from another country would feel 🫠
I moved to India from the United States for a year once I turned 18. It’s an amazing country, but it is extremely difficult and different. I at least lived with a non traditional English speaking family. I can’t imagine how she thought that was a good move. The culture shock is extreme, and I cried more days than not. I actually like Kim and TJ, but neither are very honest with each other or themselves if they thought this would go any better than it has.
I read a month ago he lives here. Whether she stayed with him is still a bit of a mystery.
There are a lot of ex-pats who live in Bengaluru.
Often referred as the ‘Silicon Valley of India’, Bengaluru is the leading information technology (IT) hub of the country. It is a home to many multinational tech companies, including Infosys, Wipro and TCS, in addition to many startups.Aug 2, 2023
Interesting, I did not know about that.

A friend of mine lived there for 5 years for work. She’s in the oil field. It was really nice in the area, but if you venture out, it’s normal India. lol.
No, TJ is not living in US. She went to US alone. Cant disclose comments from him due to TLC contract.
I said he lives here: Bengaluru
I didn’t say he lives in the U.S.

There’s just no way a person like that can have a good experience anywhere.
So true!
