At least seven explosions and low-flying aircraft were heard around 2 a.m. local time Saturday in Venezuela’s capital, Caracas. Venezuela’s government, the Pentagon and White House did not immediately respond to requests for comment. On Friday, Venezuela said it was open to negotiating an agreement with the United States to combat drug trafficking.
Delcy Rodriguez seems alive and well, and not enthused with collaboration with the US.

I wouldn’t trust Rubio until any evidence comes out of Venezuela. There’s no official confirmation of her being sworn in as president (official outlets still refer to her as vice president, which is how it legally works) and she’s still a proponent of Chavismo. At any rate, even if she turns coat there’ll at least be a power struggle with PSUV, specially with the MoD announcing full scale mobilisations.
