Lol now the NFL subreddit is acting entitled to all of their good players. Turnabout is fair play.

But I’m happy this shuts them up about Davante. Their issues are far far deeper than their WRs, which is what a lot of people have been telling Jets fans since they got Rodgers.

Jets trying to prioritize on a receiver that Rodgers played with rather get better o-line men is the most jets thing imaginable

100%. With a top 20 O Line they would actually be good. … but ya know- let’s get the 100M receiver on another team.

If Rodgers has an insane year next year- I wouldn’t be surprised if DA goes in 2025, but we for sure have him next year.

Meh I don’t mind the rumours. Considering the most likely path in the off-season is drafting a high rounded rookie QB, we more than likely are not going to win a SB next season. We could get a first for him still, and speed up the retool.

On the flip side, I also don’t mind keeping him and Jacobs, as the pair of those are a QBs best friend

I don’t care what anyone says. The Jets would have been mid at best with a healthy Rogers

They have the best defense in the league and a decent receiver core, they would have been great with a MVP qb like rodgers

Yea some of these people are high.

Jets are a prime example of something I’ve been saying for years.

“Your backup QB actually really matters.”

They still be contenders even with someone like Brissett or Dobbs playing. Health A-Rod they’d be a top 5 AFC team

not with an oline that couldn’t protect him for more than 4 plays. they’d maybe have 6 wins right now instead of 4.

Elite QBs make their offensive line better.

          1. You force the linebackers to honor the pass and play off the line.
          2. You set protections because Rodgers is a better field general than most defensive play callers.
          3. He knows how to get rid of the ball and has in the past had elite level placement. With guys he knew ahead of time plus Breece the line would have had a completely different reputation.

The man is 39 not 29 and is injuring. Why do you still have hope? That would have to be one hell of a bet for Adams. Then he’s stuck in New York across the country away from his and his wife’s family in California?

        Adams ain’t going to NY.

I do not think adams should go there. My point is that rodgers is much better than Wilson and they would be a much better team with him. Also he did just win mvp twice in the last three years so anyone saying he’s past his prime is out of their mind.

Rodgers isn’t known to be overly mobile. He’d get destroyed behind that O Line.

Yes he is… he’s literally known for his ability to either stand in the pocket or extend plays. Yes his ability to extend plays has somewhat diminished as he’s aged but to say something like “rodgers isn’t known to be overly mobile” is hogwash

The jets felt like they had something going last year and then they traded it all away for Rodgers.
