I’m thinking about getting a PS5 Pad. I know that the PS5 pad received some driver support however i read that the Adaptive Triggers don’t work (does that mean the triggers don’t work at all?). Though i can’t find any newer info about that and don’t know if this still is a thing.
I know that i could pick up some 8bitdo Pro Pad as an alternative though i haven’t been happy with their quality (The R and L Buttons suffer from a really bad design with a very thin rubber that died on me the second Time already)

I heard that audio doesn’t work over Bluetooth, which is how I mostly used it.

    Works just fine for me.

The update firmware tool works only on Windows.

But, funnily enough unlike the fucking XBox App, it works flawlessly in a VM.

Which also includes the adaptive haptics, they are technically 2 sound channels.

Which is kind of pointless, since thats not how it’s exposed on windows, and so no games are going to be programmed to expect the haptic feedback to be over an audio device.
