I’m thinking about getting a PS5 Pad. I know that the PS5 pad received some driver support however i read that the Adaptive Triggers don’t work (does that mean the triggers don’t work at all?). Though i can’t find any newer info about that and don’t know if this still is a thing.
I know that i could pick up some 8bitdo Pro Pad as an alternative though i haven’t been happy with their quality (The R and L Buttons suffer from a really bad design with a very thin rubber that died on me the second Time already)

Only thing is that most games don’t natively support the controller, which means that Steam will spoof an Xbox controller and the games will show you Xbox button prompts.

Does that mean you have issues when playing Non-Steam games for example on Lutris? Or will it still get at least detected as an Xbox Pad? I don’T care much for the prompts as long as the buttons are correctly mapped.

Depends on the game. I have Uplay installed in Lutris and added it as a non-Steam game to steam so it can use Steam Input.
