I personally don’t see a reason to go with am5 when am4 can give me 90% of the performance at 1/3 of the price. I’ve had the board since 2017 so if I burn it up after 6-7 years of use I definitely got all the value I could from a board I paid $45 for.

I started with a 1300x, currently have a 3600, and I’m considering a 5600x3d or a 5800x3d in a year or so. My only concern is that I have an Asus prime a320m-k. I’ve read the VRM is actually better than the other a320 boards but I don’t know if it’s equipped to handle 105w tdp.
