to this day I remember her and shudder.
to this day I remember her and shudder.
I tried watching the show, got to this point and said nah. 😅
I… don’t? I have forced myself through a book I didn’t enjoy before and literally gained nothing except wasted time.
Oh, believe me, Harry and Cho were not my faves either, but it was so obviously meant to be baby’s first relationship/crush so I didn’t really mind it that much. I don’t even remember anymore why I didn’t like Harry with Ginny or her as a character, but I guess it was the same as almost all HP couples: pretty much all of them were predictable and boring and straight. 😂
If there is one girl Harry had the most interesting dynamic with, it was Luna tbf. Hermione never felt more than his best friend to me.
Controversial opinion maybe but I always despised Ginny and Harry as a couple 😂 Ginny is uh… fine i guess.
I don’t recall really vehemently hating a love interest for quite a while, more like “these two characters don’t fit together at all” which is most in Harry Potter.
She was the biggest reason why I never read past book one.
from what I heard, she just gets worse so no thank you, she was already incredibly insufferable.
It’s a trilogy, not independent parts so yes, you would have to start from the beginning aka Fellowship of the ring, either the movie or the book.
The hobbit movies are garbage so don’t bother with those lmao. The book is its neat own fantasy story and its a prequel to Lotr.
I judge. A little. 😅
my condolences.
I totally get what you mean.HP was my comfort series growing up, so the fact that I can’t stomach them anymore due to Things is very sad to me.
I guess my comfort books rn would be Howl’s Moving Castle, The Raven Cycle, All for the game-trilogy (even though its heavy on triggering stuff lmao) and the danmei series Scum Villain’s Self-Saving System.
i will always despise “not like the other girls”.
the most glaring example is fucking Lila Bard. An absolutely terrible character.
dark souls 1. Sif was just protecting us from his master’s fate.
dark souls 3, specifically Yhorm and the twin princes. Yhorm was a genuinely good leader for his people but he is a shadow of his former self. And the poor twin princes, their fates intertwined forever, just waiting for the end to come.
baldur’s gate 3, the drider Kar’niss and his crew. Drider transformations are a punishment and are excruciating to the one getting punished, so it always breaks the mind of the punished. And Kar’niss, volatile and insane, was deceived once more by something he thought was a new, kinder Goddess.
I just feel incredibly bad for him. Especially knowing how absolute shit male drow get treated in Lolth-sworn drow societies, so his life probably was crappy even before being turned into a drider.
i would add the innocents of the Grove but I refuse to do that ever. 😅
