You could pull off the digital nomad gig for a while to test the waters of living in the EU. Going Dutch is maybe a bit underwhelming… taxes, average rent 1.5k a month, water electric and gas 400 euro a month. Healthcare 250 a month, groceries 150 euro a week. Leisure depends on what you have left from your 2k a month income. You see by this silly example that cost of living is insane and only full dedication to the rat race can save you from poverty.
