2-5 are acceptable. Softer bacon is better than crispier bacon and I don’t care who I offend

Somebody recently acted like I was weird for looking up an actor’s filmography on Wikipedia instead of imdb. But I HATE imdb’s interface and will avoid it every time if I can. Wikipedia might not have every project a person has worked on but it has enough and it’s just presented in a simple table

It is repulsive to us

That’s pretty much what I took from it, but I thought there might be a more specific reference I was missing
I assume this is some kind of cultural reference I don’t get

movies@piefed.social•Weekly thread - What movies have you watched this week? 29/04/2026English
71·19 days agoThe Napa Boys. The concept is, what if the movie Sideways had spawned a series of increasingly terrible, raunchy, American Pie style direct-to-video sequels, and this is the fourth movie in the franchise. It’s full of juvenile gross out humor, bad editing, plot points that get introduced out of nowhere or disappear into nothing, and incredibly cheap production values. But on purpose.
It’s a fun concept, and it wrings some genuinely funny moments out of the absurdity. It also has some fun roles for a few comedians I like: David Wain, Paul Rust, Mike Hanford, etc. Ray Wise and DJ Qualls show up in small parts too.
But it’s still sometimes a hard watch; cause even if a bad movie is bad on purpose, that doesn’t inherently make it good. I’d say it’s worth checking out though if the premise intrigues you. Just know what you’re getting into
