Yesterday I needed to share my game screen with a friend but discord wouldn’t. So I opened obs and used that to emulate a Webcam and piped my video feed the emulated Webcam and used that “Webcam” in discord. It actually worked perfectly and was really easy. I had never done it before, but took like 30 seconds to figure out.

Crossout for example has a lot of issues with rendering and crashing that gamescope seems to resolve.
