It was a very long time ago for me but from what I can recall -

The hearing took a turn when Representative Nancy Mace of South Carolina demanded mayors answer inflammatory yes-or-no questions, including whether they “hated President Trump more than they loved their country”.

Salvia Divinorum

At one point in time I could probably have been convinced to try a lot of things. Fortunately for me (probably) Salvia Divinorum was the first thing I tried after marijuana, and it so thoroughly destroyed any notion I had that I could control my experience that it put me off trying just about everything else I was curious about.

Thank god the entire experience is single digit minutes.

I’m a little surprised so many folks don’t seem to realize we have crossed a threshold that may indeed spell the end of the US as we have known it up to now, and seem to think this was just another election. But, I guess for folks who haven’t witnessed that many of our elections in their lifetime it might seem that way.

If more people did realize that, I’d have a lot more faith that we’re going to be able to stop it.

It’s really feeling like this won’t end softly - it’s unlikely some random centrist dem wins in 2028 and everyone says “Fair match, sport”. Either America as we knew it dies or there’s going to be a radical revolution.
