I can’t help but feel that this is slop.
I saw him posting “proof” that he doesn’t use genAI when he showed a screenshot of one tracing layer, like that’d be proof…
I can confidently bet my right testicle that he uses genAI, and maybe does a bit of “retouching” on it. There are way too many sloppy features to be original art, not even novices would draw some of those features.
Tbh, it’s more offensive that he uses it and then denies it. Like seeing your kid come home with bloodshot eyes and smelling like weed and he answering “no way dad, drugs are for losers!”
Yeah, the dead giveaway is that no one draws guns like that.
Something about the composition is giving AI
The sepia tone, flat colors, and the linework is characteristic of AI, even if traced
Yeah I had the same thought as well and went looking for the source. This guy I guess does these illustrated stories and articles with them.
Here’s the source for this image. Make of it what you will. I thought the article was well written.

They don’t look unfit enough.
I think our mistake was ever taking anything they say at face value. Good faith is not on offer with fascists.
You guys were taking things at face value?
The gun groups did protest actually, although at least the NRA did so in a very mealy-mouthed way castigating any protesters.
I’m beginning to suspect that the boots taste like bacon or something. It’s the only thing that could explain these levels of licking.
The article this originates from is really well written and I recommend reading it if you have the chance.

The first mistake is assuming any kind of good faith or logical consistency from these people. Their MO is the opposite - I’m going to do what I want, and go fuck yourself.
I live in a 70% Republican town and grew up disgusted by these people. Now to see them lick the boot is pathetic. They’re just vile people at heart.
Conservatism consists of exactly one proposition, to wit: There must be in-groups whom the law protects but does not bind, alongside out-groups whom the law binds but does not protect.
