Ive heard theres a lot of bigotry in ml spaces, particularly against women and lgbtq+. So i think sharing your experiences would allow us to learn from them. Im pretty sure this is a safe space, at least i hope so lol.

Edit: I apoligize for giving little to no profundization.(im not used to this reddit like social media, i only use discord)

I mostly asked this because i was thinking about joining Communist Party of Spain and i had heard concerning things about other communist poarties in the imperial core like the yankee one, and the british one. And i also saw this short https://www.youtube.com/shorts/poc6t6qO1VM and i was really worried about it.

Anyways thanks for answering and im glad the responses were so reassuring.

I would like to learn but as of now I am stuck in the capitalist trap of working 12 hour shifts on top of school and being too tired to do anything else

I am trying to fit some in when I can but I don’t have much space for anything even things that I need to like blood tests and eating

You could always ask questions pertaining to certain details regarding communism, Marxism-Leninism, socialist countries, etc. I am sorry to hear that you have that long job :<

Luckily I only have about 3 months of school left before I can go back to just working and not having 3-4 days per week of school on top of it

I was out of work for a while but I managed to find something that actually feels good to do and gets me skills that are usable in both civilian life and during any sort of revolution or any other situation to be honest.

I think it is but the job Is also pretty stressful as a baseline plus since I just got into it I am at a pretty shitty company but the actual field is something I like and actually lets me help people.

Specifically i am working in ems in one of the larger cities of my state

And once i finish school i am gonna go through and get training that is roughly being a basic combat medic and then after a bit I am gonna upgrade to the civilian equivalent of a full combat medic.

Not the actual position of combat medic but the closest thing someone not in the armed services can get, I am going for my paramedic two but that covers more than traumatic injury so takes longer

Combat medic covers things like gsw and stabbings and blunt trauma to a higher extent than most people can get

Realistically I work in normal emergency medicine but I am trying to go in with a focus on traumatic injury especially since I am in an area where shootings and stabbings aren’t uncommon
