first you get a concept, then you write a story, then you put some branches in it, then you figure out how to code it and whether it’s plausible given current gaming/app tech. then you revise and repeat.
It’s maybe a good way to learn? I don’t know, all I had was a book on BASIC in the 80s and it never made sense. Syntax error line 30 doesn’t really help when you’re 9
