I’m thinking about getting a PS5 Pad. I know that the PS5 pad received some driver support however i read that the Adaptive Triggers don’t work (does that mean the triggers don’t work at all?). Though i can’t find any newer info about that and don’t know if this still is a thing.
I know that i could pick up some 8bitdo Pro Pad as an alternative though i haven’t been happy with their quality (The R and L Buttons suffer from a really bad design with a very thin rubber that died on me the second Time already)

    Yes!

    The normal buttons work fine.

I don’t know which are adaptive triggers and with what games they should work.

The light bar doesn’t changes colors when multiple ones are attached to the computer.

I haven’t tested audio and gyroscopes.

I heard that audio doesn’t work over Bluetooth, which is how I mostly used it.

The update firmware tool works only on Windows.

But it doesn’t matter as it works just fine also with the firmware that it comes with.

That sounds great. Tbh i only care if the buttons and rumble work other stuff i don’t care much about. The triggers are important for racing games so i was confused about that. Glad to hear that it seems to work. Ty :)

But, funnily enough unlike the fucking XBox App, it works flawlessly in a VM.

Which also includes the adaptive haptics, they are technically 2 sound channels.

Which is kind of pointless, since thats not how it’s exposed on windows, and so no games are going to be programmed to expect the haptic feedback to be over an audio device.
