what game?
if it has eac or battleye proton enabled you grab the runtime in your steam library (proton easyanticheat runtime) or (proton battleye runtime) then just use proton and the game should work
Core ctrl doesnt support rdna 3 cards right now until kernel 6.7
I have a whole ass channel for gaming on linux with benchmarks, tutorials for setting up different wine launchers and some install guides for linux distros

Dual booting on windows should be easy peasy and there is no shame in it as there are a lot of games still that dont work under linux because the devs simply dont want to support proton
I would say overall linux is better at performing on games then windows as for some reason dxvk and vkd3d can out perform windows under amd hardware. i cannot say the same for nvidia with its proprietary driver
maybe grab the .exe and then add it through steam library and then force compatibility on it so that it runs through proton? since the flatpak version doesnt have leaderboards i dont know any other options lol
Im on 6.6 and no issues :)
i use bottles for fitgirl, dodi. sometimes you will run out of memory when installing the game but that depends on the repack of how old it is. just grab the latest wine-ge, select it as your runner in the bottle you made then run the setup and hope for the best lol
I have a rx 6700 and ray tracing does work if your using mesa 23.2.1 or above especially mesa 23.3 will have another big boost in performance for ray tracing as valve devs have been working on it for a while. Idk what mesa version kubuntu uses so you would have to check that
But in general ray tracing isnt rlly worth it for a mid range card
Emulators work the exact same way as they do on windows just different directory so i use flatpak packages for yuzu, cemu, rpcs3, dolphin etc so it would be in hidden files
.var/app
Flatpak install bottles
Launch bottles
Create a bottle for gaming
Download the latest wine-ge runner in bottles by going to the 3 dots top right, preferences, runners, wine-ge then go back to the bottle and select the runner to be the wine-ge that you downloaded
Grab the roblox.exe from the roblox website
Run the .exe in that bottle you created by clicking the execute
After done installing bottles will either add the .exe that was created and add it to the list but if not add a shortcut in the bottle and go to .var/app/bottles/data/thebottleyoucreated/findrobloxinthefakewineprefix

I have 2 pcs
One with a rtx 2060 and the other is a rx 6700
Both run fedora
Both are able to run wayland under kde plasma
Both are able to play games but amd wins here as the valve, wine, proton, amd devs are working faster and harder at fixing bugs and making games work at a faster pace because of the steamdeck
If you buy a amd rx 7000s you wont be able to underclock, overclock or change fan speeds until linux kernel 6.7 because amd is overhauling how it works
Encoding is on par now with h.264 on the latest obs 30
If you’re gonna be working on 3d graphical or editing with davinci then nvidia wins here as its just easier to start using those apps without needing to install other drivers
I had been using it for a week for gaming, editing, making thumbnails, its a perfect distro i would say for anyone. even made a video about it and there is a gaming part in it
