Impressive discipline to stick with a 5000 page series you didn’t enjoy. I have trouble finishing a 200 page book I don’t like
If the start of the book is off putting there’s a good chance I’ll dnf right there. I hate prologues(books should start on chapter 1 or with a forward from the author) and weirdly formatted starts to books are never my cup of tea. I say let the reader get comfortable with your world/characters/writing style before breaking out the italicized text or awkward margin spacing
I should but no
You better get decided
Hank the Cowdog, I believe
As a stupid person who reads a lot, especially as a kid, reading is just another form of entertainment. I’m glad I was never forced to view it as anything more than that. Thanks Mom!
There must some disconnect somewhere because on Reddit it seems this book series is not well liked but on goodreads it’s praise is near universal. Personally I think the first book is difficult to get though and the second and third are amazing
Well shit doesn’t have mean it’s near finished? The other books are all about 1000 pages
What the window being closed on your title hopes does to a MF
I love that series but the first book is rough. Looking back I’m surprised I finished it. The 2nd and 3rd are some of my favorites but I understand the series as a whole is extremely divisive.
The BB style is alienating. It requires a certain level of football genius to get away with.
Sorry while I do view Brady as the GOAT QB I don’t think he was that much better than his contemporaries such as Manning and Rodgers. Him winning way more SBs than those guys must be in part because of BB’s greatness.
Bill Belichick the coach going 27-31 without Brady should be praised considering the horrible job Bill Belichick the GM has done
Jones is a solid QB on a team with very little talent on offense. I’m sure his next team will find him competent, maybe even good
Not a movie but I’ve seen the first season of The Expanse and read the first half Leviathan Wakes and feel justified in saying the TV show is better
