Remember when he accused that diver rescuing children of being a pedophile? I’m not saying that literally every accusation is a confession, but I never could shake the feeling that this one is. Why else would his mind jump to sexual abuse as motivation for helping people?
I feel like it’s also because his feefees were hurt because they wouldn’t implement his dumbass “solution” to rescue the boys, which iirc, was using some kind of small asf submersible to rescue them which wouldn’t have been practical or effective.
I mean, yeah, the reason for lashing out that nobody was having his techbro visionary bullshit. He wanted to be hailed a hero and saviour for having a genius idea (that others would have to design, build, test and operate, but that’s just implementation details; obviously the difficult part we’re all too dumb for is coming up with this brilliant stuff in the first place).
Snubbing him so and rejecting his solution implies that his genius isn’t clearly visible to the rest of us, which obviously must be an insult.
The fact that he chose this specific accusation to throw around is oddly specific, however.
