This subreddit is so wet from all the drooling about the possibility of City’s punishments.
It’s well weird as well because everyone usually says they don’t care about City but… they seem to.

Course you would. That’s what everyone says.
Are all of your revenue streams morally perfect etc.? I’m by no means defending City on certain issues but I’d been going for 10 years before the takeover and loved every minute of supporting them, so it stands to reason I was going to continue to love it after. Reality is, we get to see the best players in the world and some of the best football the league has ever seen. When you strip it down to basics, we’re incredibly lucky and enjoying the ride.
City fan here.
Whatever your answer, trust me, you’d trade it.
The last 12 years supporting City has just been an unbelievable experience. Memories that will never be erased or tainted.
I know that there will be plenty in the thread who desperately try to claim otherwise but any fan of any side would love to experience the highs we’ve experienced.
Relegate us to League 2 if you want, we’ll enjoy it nonetheless.
Do people on this sub even watch football? Genuinely.
As great as Bellingham is, he’s not the best player in the world. Not yet. Someone like KDB is still a better player. Messi probably is still the better footballer. Mbappe and Haaland are still both better players right now. However, Bellingham’s ceiling is absolutely huge and he can probably surpass any of the above, bar Messi.
This is genuinely no slight on him, I agree that I can’t recall any midfielder at his age that was as complete as him etc. I just think he’s not the best in the world just yet. Probably top 5 or top 10.
There are so many people on here who are desperately trying to cope with the idea that City might not be found guilty by making little fantasies for themselves.
As a City fan, it’s hilarious. The desperation is crazy.
Why wouldn’t we stick around?
We have the highest % of long serving fans in the PL. We averaged 30,000 at our lowest point in a 34,000 seater stadium. Questioning City fans’ loyalty is so daft.
Almost as daft as multiplying the amount of charges by 12 points to determine how many points City will be ‘deducted’.
I think for Burnley especially, they’re probably looking at the bigger picture. Give the guy chance to learn and if he takes you down, so be it. Let him rebuild and come back. The money from this season alone will fund some new players. Best case scenario, they get a win and some confidence and before you know it, they’re on their way. I don’t think I’d sack Kompany right now if it meant just getting some journeyman in to take us down anyway and then be stuck with a prehistoric style in the Championship.
