  • Its a tik-tok generation question, where not being a consistent title contender = mid table. You know, like Arsenal, and Tottenham 😋.

Long story short - you would see a lot less tiktokers or youtubers puting up discussion videos or reels about them. Interest in the international market would dwindle and that would have an impact on merchandise revenue… but that would be about it. It would still enjoy from a healthy domestic fanbase, which are actually the people that keep the club alive… and those would usually take 30 to 40 years to disappear. Take Everton or Newcastle. Newcastle even spent quite a bit of time going up and down on the EPL, and still kept massive domestic interest over their fans.

Dont mistake what happens in the internet with real.life. internet seeks hype and trends. Real.life is a lot more about dedication and progressive growth / investment

  • It is funnu because in a lot of leagues people are requesting for foreign refs. Which kind of indicates that all refs are shit or the perception of them is shit.

English refs routinely appear at the finals of european or international.competition. it is a good indication that perhaps they are at the top of their game. Bear in mind that in EPL, they are fully professional, which is not the case in most leagues.

Dont let the perception of extended comments focus on referreing to paint a worst picture than it is. Refereeing is actually stradily improving. But.when you start discussing a bad ref call when it is needed a shot at 3 different speeds, 10 different angles and even then people.say it isnup to interpretation - that is not bad ref. That is just pundits and fans being a dic and demanding a lot more thant what is humanly possible.
