  • Drafting a QB when you have other NEEDS is foolish. How many first round QBs have worked out no doubt in the last few years? Yall act like you havent seen this movie a thousand times already. Kiper and mcshay sucking off a handful of QBs every year and they just dont work out. Good teams dont keep chasing QBs. We have one who actual NFL QBs say is pretty damn good.

What dont you like about Aidan or what is he lacking that you’ve seen in 4 or 5 games? You guys keep bringing up CJ Stroud. Compare CJ Strouds 5th game to AOCs 5th game stats. Then bryce Youngs 5th game stats to AOCs. Zach Wilsons, Kenny Picketts, Brock Purdys, etc. I dont think its as big of a risk to see what year 2 AOC can do and get your franchise OL/S/CB. The reason SF can roll with Purdy is because theyve drafted other positions well enough.

We could get a starting fucking corner for the first time in FOREVER next year. A starting RT or Center. A true franchise Free Safety. I mean i’d be open to trading davante and maybe with that extra pick get a marvin harrison and a QB. Or a QB with a corner in round 1. But for one pick in the first i dont think getting a QB would be smart. They might not even be ready until year 2 and what do you do then? Play AOC until then and find out hes really good but still cant block for shit or cover anyone?

  • Its an emotional response. People fully expect 40pts since we have all these offensive weapons. But what i’ve realized is that this offensive scheme isnt built to score 40. Its built to score 30 if you make zero mistakes and run the ball for 100 yards a game. Is it fair to judge AoC based on this offense? NO. Is it fair to judge AP or BoBo in this offense? NO. But if you’re Mark Davis, you dont have a few years to try out different schemes, QBs, and coaches.

That being said, judging by people who know way more about QB play than i do, i think we’re fine at QB. AoC is a really good rookie prospect whos only going to get better and better. If we had the system that Brock Purdy or CJ Stroud plays in, we would probably say we’re set for the next 5 years.

  • Yeah i think we need to shut down Maxx and start a plan to move on from Davante and JJ. Obviously we cant get anything from Josh but we can get what we gave up for DA or maybe a 2nd and 3rd and 2nd the year after. That would make this job a little tastier to a new HC. The chargers are obviously still a better job because they have a QB. But we need to make this job attractive for future suitors.

We paid the RB and it didnt help much at all. Lets not do that again.

  • You dont know football if you say this. There are ex NFL QBs on youtube that say Aidan does great things that vets dont even do. You got like Kenny Pickett who you know is never going to be great because he doesnt have any flashes of greatness. He’s just solid. Aidan has flashes of greatness. But also flashes of rookie because THATS WHAT HE IS! Macgloin was making rookie mistakes when he wasnt a rookie! Adians footwork is already really good for most of the game. Pocket awareness and reads will come with experience.

Keep in mind he’s had to play his 2 hardest opponents without one of the best LTs in the game. Please stop with the emotional wah wah bogus comparisons just because you’re upset we lost.

  • There are 7 year vets who are making the same mistakes. How long has Jared Goff been in the league? Im pretty sure he threw 3 picks yesterday and he’s had WAY more time playing vs that opponent and has been in that same system. Ive seen enough people smarter than me about football say that what they’re seeing in AOC is elite. He’s just gonna make rookie mistakes like everyone.

Imagine in your 3rd start (not counting the JMD game) they tell you that you have to throw the ball at Jalen Ramsey in his house across the country. THATS TOUGH

  • Now i hate complaining about the refs but WOW were they gunning for us today. We drop a pass and its "Welp dont want to take a scoring opportunity away from Miami. Lets call it a fumble to be safe.

We pick up a clear fumble and chance to scoop and score and its “Nope tua was probably down. Dont want to give LV a chance to score on this”

Then the HUGE sack on 3rd down on the BS defensive holding call that set up the Tyreek TD. There was literally NOTHIGN there. Not a tug or nothing. Just a wr that ran into a DB for 1 second. Its crazy bros.

  • Its crazy how the OL isnt seeing basic hat on a hat protections. Come on Andre, help your rookie out. Im blaming some of it on the week before with new OC calling plays. But man, is this mcdaniels system just broken!? Or is Mcdaniels such a shitty teacher without Brady that this offense just doesnt know whats going on in year 2?

Maybe everything wasnt all on Jimmy G. This offense just seems messy as hell with some basic fundamentals missing or made more complex for no reason at all. Not impressed by this OL coach Bricillo. He’s trash.
