Popular or classical, western or non-western, communist or even anti-communist, feel free to mention any and all kinds of music here.
I found the city pop that I vibe with. Tatsuro Yamashita (via the album Spacy) and Anri (through Coool). They’ve properly hit the same type of sound that I love about TWRP that made me originally look into city pop and jazz fusion.

I am at a place where I may be able to get checked regarding my auditory issues.
I hope I can get to a point where I am not afraid of sound or whatever.
i hope so too! best of luck to you.
Thnx!
i’ve really gotten into classical.music thanks to looking for new music to listen to while reading theory, especially Peer Gynt Suite No. 1, Op. 46 Morning
mostly the same stuff i listen to the most (the mars volta, king gizzard, will wood, etc) but i’ve started getting into tool and at the drive in recently
I listened to multiple albums this week.
I finally listened to the new Phoebe Bridgers album last week, I thought it was good but time will tell if I’ll like it as much as her other records.
I also listened to an album by the Red Army Choir, because I wanted to listen to more Russian albums. But I thought it was nothing for me, although as a communist I love the meaning of the songs. I also listened to Otava Yo’s Chto Za Pesni, also because I wanted to listen to more Russian albums. I liked it. Furthermore I listened to these other albums: Go_A - #Idynazvuk, from Ukraine (EDM), The Blue Hearts - The Blue Hearts (Japanese punk), Blackpink - The Album (Kpop).
I have a project to listen to an album per country, and hadn’t listened to an album from South Korea or Japan yet.
But I’ve listened mostly to my playlists this week
Olivia Dean is pretty nice
String Quartet No. 8 in C Minor (II) by Shostakovich. It’s my favorite anxiety music.

Other than that, you name it
Type O Negative. Basically nothing else. Not going through anything, just think it’s a hyperfixation ATM. (And I’m watching archived videos of their DVDs).

Chat Pile.
Recently discovered these guys.
Particular favourite of note is “why” which is just a brutally simple and to the point anticapitalist song asking the question Why do people have to live outside?
They shine a light on just how fucked up america really is with some at times messed up and disturbing songs like Grimace_Smoking_weed.jpg which despite the silly title is an absolute nightmare of addiction, self harm and more
No Cure’s new album, currently album of the year for me (metalcore, hardcore)
